Ferry Enterprises LLC, doing business as Douglasville Design ("Douglasville Design," "we," "us," or "our"), respects intellectual property rights and responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and other applicable laws.
This policy applies to content hosted on or transmitted through our services, including douglasvilledesign.com and websites we host for clients.
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content hosted on or accessible through our services infringes your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include the following:
- Your full legal name and contact information (address, telephone number, and email address).
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, provide a representative list.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL(s) or other specific location(s) where the material can be found.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
3. Counter-Notice
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to our designated agent. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your full legal name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Ferry Enterprises LLC may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the original complainant does not file a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity within 10–14 business days, we will restore the removed material.
4. Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, hosting for clients or users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to our services where intellectual property rights of others are infringed, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
5. Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any content at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if we believe in good faith that it infringes third-party intellectual property rights, regardless of whether we receive a formal DMCA notice.
